A chink in the system’s armour has appeared in the form of the Attorney-General of Queensland apparently being unwilling to support the government’s hate-crime laws in totality.
An Attorney-General is a chief law officer and the top legal advisor to the government in their respective state or territory.
Five other Attorneys-General from other states are supporting the government, which isn’t surprising considering the government pays their salaries.
This fight begins tomorrow, September 8th. It’s White Australia VS the system, and one rogue Queenslander is coming into the mix with unknown intentions.
