– Volkswagen finalized a deal with Israeli defense firm 'Rafael' to transform its plant in Osnabrück, Germany, into a factory for components for the Israeli 'Iron Dome' air defense system.The plant is expected to stop producing automobiles in 2027, and then switch to trucks, generators and launchers for the Iron Dome batteries.
