- A large-scale Russian aerial attack is expected against Ukraine tonight, with Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast facing the highest threat with the Lviv Oblast also potentially targeted.
Current estimates suggest the potential use of hundreds of drones, up to 40 cruise missiles and 35–50 ballistic/hypersonic missiles. Up to 8 Tu-95MS and 4 Tu-160 strategic bombers could participate, potentially carrying as many as 60 Kh-101 cruise missiles, with 4 Tu-160 bombers in the air right now flying from East Russia to West Russia to their launch lines. Geran-4 jet drones are expected to continue operating ahead of the main strike, to wear out Air Defense systems protecting the capital.
