– The U.S. State Department approved the sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions-Extend Range (JDAM-ER) valued at around $5 billion to Saudi Arabia, as well as AGT-1500 engines (mainly used in M1 'Abrams' MBTs) valued at $750 million.The JDAM-ER adds deployable wings to extend the range of a projectile to between 75-85 kilometers.
