On June 13, 2026, 55 Congolese Scholars from The Geneva Learning Foundation held an experience-sharing session on the Ebola response, Bundibugyo strain. No one ordered the meeting. They called it themselves.
Ten lessons came out of it: risk communication, operational security in conflict zones, equipping grieving families for burial rites instead of simply banning them.
