Venus takes about 243 Earth days to rotate once on its axis, but only about 225 Earth days to complete one orbit around the Sun.

Even stranger, Venus rotates in the opposite direction to most planets. If you stood on Venus, the Sun would appear to rise in the west and set in the east.

It’s one of the strangest planetary rotations in our solar system. 🪐
