▫️The crypto market wrapped up its strongest week in two years, with Bitcoin gaining around 23%. The key drivers were inflows into U.S. spot crypto ETFs, a weaker dollar, shifts in the U.S. Treasury market, and positive regulatory signals from Washington.
▫️Spot Bitcoin ETFs posted three strong inflow days in a row: $517M, then $606M (the best single day since May 1), then $307.45M to close the week. In total, the funds pulled in $1.92 billion, the strongest week since October 10.
▫️The landscape around the spot Ethereum ETFs is rather similar, as they have also attracted the most funds since October 2025. In their case, the actual numbers were just under $700 million.
▫️The Ethereum Foundation has warned that some wallets, indexers and gas estimators may break because of gas-model changes in the upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade.
▫️Solana has reduced its target slot time from 400 milliseconds to 350ms for the first time since the network launched, starting a four-stage plan that could eventually bring slots down to 200ms.
▫️It has also become the top blockchain for tokenized stocks in DeFi, holding $75.4 million in related deposits. This represents about 64.5% of the total tokenized-stock DeFi market.
Blockchain Optimism’s governance has approved a proposal to repurpose 546.9 million OP tokens previously reserved for user airdrops to support ecosystem growth and institutional adoption.
