Zcash has caught the attention of macro investor and Real Vision co-founder Raoul Pal, who described the cryptocurrency’s long-term technical setup in particularly strong terms.
Discussing ZEC, Pal pointed to the combination of an increasingly relevant privacy narrative and a long-term chart that appears to be breaking higher.
“I just don’t see how this does not go a long way,” Pal said while reviewing the Zcash chart.
His comments come at a notable moment for ZEC. Following its recent appreciation, Zcash has returned to broader market attention as investors reassess the role of financial privacy within the cryptocurrency sector.
Pal’s argument appears to extend beyond short-term price action. Privacy is a relatively straightforward investment narrative: as digital financial activity becomes increasingly transparent and traceable, technologies designed to preserve transactional privacy may become more valuable.
Zcash represents one of the longest-established projects built around that thesis, combining a fixed maximum supply of 21 million ZEC with optional shielded transactions powered by zero-knowledge cryptography.
The latest rally has already resulted in a substantial repricing of ZEC. Whether that momentum can be sustained remains uncertain, but Pal’s comments illustrate how Zcash is increasingly entering the conversation among prominent macro and crypto investors.
