Yesterday we concluded the Youth for Peace in-person training in Addis Ababa. Over two days, 50 young peace champions from Addis Ababa, Afar, Amhara and Tigray worked through what drives conflict, how hate speech moves through a community, and what it takes to respond to both with care and evidence.
The training closed with each participant receiving a certificate. They leave with practical skills, a network across regions, and a commitment to carry this work into their own communities. That is where it matters most.
