Commemorating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Day was initiated by the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association (EPA) around 10 years back. Since then the event was being commemorated by the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association, Ministry of Health, Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority, WHO, MTAPS and other multilateral and bilateral development partners. This yea, the event is scheduled to be marked on 15 June 2022 nationally at Getfam Hotel and regionally at 12 Schools of Pharmacy.
