Listen, my friend, please hear me carefully.
Being Muslim today feels like a crime. Just because someone is Muslim, our brothers and sisters are being kicked out of their homes, insulted on the streets, fired from jobs, and mosques are being attacked.
This is not just an attack on people — it’s an attack on our faith, on Islam itself. When they attack a Muslim, they are attacking our Quran, our iman, and our identity.
The incident in Kaliabar is just one example. A family was forcibly evicted without any proof or legal process, just because they were Muslim and Bengali-speaking. But sadly, this is not limited to Assam.
These kinds of incidents happen hundreds of times — in China, Palestine, India, Europe, America — almost everywhere in the world. Mosques burned, hijabs torn off, people beaten on the streets just for being Muslim.
Our brothers and sisters are crying, losing their homes, even losing their lives — and if we stay silent, one day this fire will reach our own doorstep.
That’s why we created @StopIslamophobia. Here, we bring these stories, photos, videos, and evidence so no one can say “I didn’t know.”
