Claude Mythos in 60 hours found a variant of an attack on the post-quantum signature HAWK and reduced the key recovery complexity from 2⁶² to 2³⁸.A test key was obtained in a few hours on a single server, and the AI accelerated the attack on truncated AES-128 by 200–800 times. Full AES-128 and protected versions of HAWK are NOT YET cracked.
