Israel’s FM Gideon Saar has set out Israel’s response to UK trade ban:
1. Closing British consulate in East Jerusalem
2. Expelling British officials from CMCC
3. Canceling British Support Team that trains PA forces in Ramallah
4. Preventing entry of 12 British MKs into Israel
"We have nothing against the British people.
They are governed by hostile Labour government, statement was mendacious and outrageous.
This was driven by internal domestic politics, ahead of Labour party conference.
Jewish People have a right to live everywhere in the Land of Israel. This "absurd" step is a reminder of "White Paper" from Mandate period, which limited Jewish immigration during the Shoah (Holocaust)."
