ELECTION JIHAD IN TEXAS!

TAX-EXEMPT MOSQUE OR DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGN HQ?

AL-HEDAYAH HOSTS ONE-PARTY POLITICAL OPERATION - IS THIS ALLOWED!?

Al-Hedayah Islamic Center. East Fort Worth. Sept. 4.

A tax-exempt mosque ran a “voter registration drive” that was a Democratic campaign stop: candidates inside, party signs on the tables, photos for the feed. One party. One turnout operation. 501(c)(3) cover.

Who was there...

🔺 Dione Sims - Democrat, TX-25
🔺 Arthurine Kamphaus - Democrat, district judge

🔺Nathan Smith - Democrat, Tarrant District Clerk (“VETERAN DEMOCRAT” sign in the shot)

🔺Aftab Siddiqui - Muslim Democratic Caucus operative, former caucus president, 2012 DNC delegate

🔺Darwish Otrok - Al-Hedayah Academy contact
🔺Waleed Joulani
🔺Nader Ahmad
🔺Posted by M. Emad Salem.

This seems very problematic to me....

1. Tax-exempt abuse!?

The mosque is a 501(c)(3). Nonpartisan registration is legal. Putting Democratic candidates in the room with campaign signs and posting it as they “visited the mosque and met the community” is campaign intervention.

2. One-party machine.

No Republican or independent on the flyer. Smith’s “VETERAN DEMOCRAT” board is on the table. The caption lists the Democratic ticket by name. That’s a slate event, not a neutral drive.

3. Organized political capture.

Siddiqui isn’t a congregant who wandered in. He’s a former president of the Muslim Democratic Caucus of Texas and a 2012 DNC delegate. Otrok is an Al-Hedayah Academy contact on city filings. Salem posted the event.

That’s organizers + candidates + the building.
