Open Call for Organisations to Join the Expert Review Programme for Educational Programmes through a Human Rights Lens
Would you like to make your educational programme more inclusive, transparent, and responsive to the needs of its participants?
The NGO "Democratic Initiatives Incubator" and the Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education (EENCE) invite organisations from the Eastern Partnership countries to participate in the second phase of the international project "HRBA in Action: Strengthening Citizenship Education through the Human Rights-Based Approach in the Eastern Partnership Countries."
We offer individual expert support for educational programmes using the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA).
What will participants receive?
- an individual expert review of their educational programme;
- an expert report with practical recommendations for improvement;
- consultation and guidance from an international expert;
- a personalised certificate confirming successful completion of the Expert Support Programme for Educational Programmes and participation in an international professional development initiative;
- new ideas and practical tools to further strengthen and develop their educational programme.
Important: This is not an organisational audit or inspection. It is a collaborative process designed to help you view your educational programme through a human rights lens, identify its strengths, and discover opportunities for further development.
How does the programme work?
The programme is conducted entirely online and requires approximately up to 8 hours of participants' engagement.
The process includes:
- submitting an application;
- selection of educational programmes for expert support;
- an introductory online meeting to define objectives and areas of focus;
- an individual expert review of the programme (documents, materials, and online consultations);
- preparation of an expert report with recommendations;
- a final discussion of the findings and possible next steps.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from:
- civil society organisations;
- educational institutions;
- youth centres and youth spaces;
- initiative groups;
- other organisations working in the field of citizenship education.
Both existing educational programmes and programmes currently under development are eligible.
For the purposes of this programme, an educational programme may include a training course, a series of trainings, a school or university subject, an educational or online course, a methodological handbook, an educational strand within an organisation, or any other educational initiative through which participants develop knowledge, skills, competencies, and values related to citizenship education.
Applications may be submitted by an individual representative or by a team involved in the development and implementation of the programme.
Expert support will be provided by experts from the Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education (EENCE).
Places are limited — expert support will be provided to 10 educational programmes.
