As I’ve been talking about for weeks on end, until we see Bitcoin definitively break out or break down from this range between $65k and $62k, none of this short term price action actually matters.
And as we can see, price has recently begun to reject from the top of this current range, which is clear proof that although we have had a nice rally over the past few days, it is insignificant on the HTF.
We are starting to see bearish divergence on the 4H RSI, creating lower highs while price action printed a higher high. This is a clear sign of the buyers beginning to experience exhaustion right at resistance, meaning this short term rally will likely not result in an HTF breakout.
Keep a very close eye on this range as we head deeper into the week. I’ve got a feeling this short term consolidation is due for a large directional move much sooner rather than later.
