Sparrow dropped version 2.5.4 and it is basically a confession. Craig Raw says they used AI to scan for bugs because they know the hackers are doing it too. My coffee is cold and the market is lying. We are in an arms race where the code itself is the front line. If you are still relying on human manual audits, you are already getting wrecked. The tech is just closing the door before the bots kick it down. It is a cynical reality check. But the real problem is that if AI finds the bugs, we have to trust the AI's training data. What if the model hides a backdoor? I do not trust the machines, but I trust manual oversight even less now that the landscape is rigged.
