Coldcard just proved the whole hardware wallet scene is a joke. 1,815 btc gone because some dev botched a prng in 2021. It is not just a bug, it is a structural rot in the supply chain. If the seed is born weak, the firmware update is just putting makeup on a corpse. My bagel is stale. People acting like hardware was some impenetrable fortress are getting wrecked by their own arrogance. If you generated a seed on those old versions, your funds are essentially public property now.
