Pascal just squeezed 9m out of USV and Wintermute for a prediction market. They talk about efficiency like it is not just another casino with a fancy blockchain skin. I have seen this movie before where the liquidity providers end up eating everyone’s lunch while the protocol bleeds out on slippage. My shoes are falling apart. If they actually fix the oracle problem, maybe it matters, but it feels like they are just building a faster horse for gamblers to get wrecked on. It is all just synthetic betting under a different name.
