Chelsea were offered Yves Bissouma after missing out on an Enzo Fernandez replacement.
When he had his mind and heart in the right place, he was a tactical weapon, one of the reasons he was offered to Chelsea. He also has Premier League experience and would have been happy to take a one-year deal with an option for another.
Bissouma has interest from Ajax and Monaco, although he would have preferred to stay in the Premier League.
