Charlie Ward & Friends: post #181 — TG.ME

After spending 606 days in prison, former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters has spoken publicly following her release.

Peters says she is grateful to finally be free, thanking God, her supporters, attorneys, friends and family for standing by her throughout her ordeal.

Despite receiving clemency from Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Peters says her fight is not over.

💬 "I still have a fight to go. I still have a fight to clear my name and bring out the truth of why they came after me the way they did."

For now, Peters says she plans to focus on her health, spend time with loved ones and begin the next chapter of her journey.

❤️ "I'm just very, very grateful."
