Most people calling themselves “developers” today are just vibe coders. And NO ! vibe coding isn’t a good thing. If you’re a vibe coder, here are the absolute basics you should know: -APIs are just servers talking to other servers - .env files store your secrets never commit them - localhost means the server is running on your machine - auth is mostly tokens and cookies - npm install downloads a ton of dependencies - your frontend is mostly making HTTP requests -Databases are just structured data you query -Rate limits exist to prevent abuse Vibe coding is fun. But understanding these basics will save you hours of debugging. @CTBEsoftwareengineers
