Why you should NOT use windows as a software engineer 1) it's intelligence gathering malware 2) it's for normies and no self respecting programmer uses it 3) it's bloated and takes up most of your storage ( you might try to debloate it but you can't fully turn it off) 4) Microsoft says the old versions are unusable and insecure after their end of support ( tech propoganda) 5) it literally has a dogshit terminal 6)The latest window 11 is trash So what's the solution 1) Use linux 2) Start with the simplest Linux distro Ubuntu ( it's easy but often called the windows of the Linux world lol) 3) Use MacOs ( but you should know the hardware is unupgradeable and it's closed off environment) 4) Dual-boot your PC if you're so dependent on Windows ( if you're a gamer etc...) 5)Use windows subsystem for linux if you want to experiment with linux ( this is while still using windows before you fully transition to linux)
