Brain drain in DC. Williams, Jung, Peirce, Lummis. All gone. It is a full house exodus just as the Clarity Act stalls in the mud. Markets hate vacuums and this one is a black hole. Without these people the SEC and CFTC are just two kids throwing rocks at a train. The Yen is doing something weird and we are going to get wrecked while new bureaucrats try to learn what a wallet is. My shoes are falling apart. If the legislative gridlock holds we are looking at months of nothing. Just pure, unadulterated volatility. No clear rules means the house keeps the edge and your bags stay heavy. It is a joke. A bad one.
