The Jewish autumn festivals from the Bible, beginning with Yom Teruah (the Feast of Trumpets), are viewed by many prominent and Messianic believers as a prophetic blueprint for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Whereas the spring festivals (such as Passover and Pentecost) were accurately completed during His first coming (His death, resurrection, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit), the autumn festivals prophetically point forward to the events surrounding the end times. Yom Teruah, therefore, has absolutely nothing to do with the Rapture; it is about the second coming of Christ.
