Many say that "Rapture" is not found anywhere in the Bible. That is correct, because it is an English Bible. The word "Rapture" comes from the first New Testament, written in Greek, which is about 2000 years old. แผฯฯฮฌฮถฯ (harpazรณ) means Rapture "(snatch) comes from the Latin word" rapturo ". It is the equivalent of the Greek" harpazo which is found in: 1 Thessalonians 4:17 for caught up is translated from the Greek word โHarpazoโ and the Latin โRapturo.โ That is the word from which we get โRapture.โ And in Hebrew ื ึธืฆึทื (nฤแนฃal) means โdeliverance, to deliver, to snatch away, take away, to rescue.โ
