Jesus Says, โ€œComeโ€

In Matthew 11:28, Christ uses the simple and familiar word โ€œcomeโ€ to describe the response He expects to the Gospel invitation, for He says, โ€œCome to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.โ€

In John 6:37, Christ adds to this invitation to come to Him a gracious and certain promise: โ€œWhoever comes to Me, I will never cast out.โ€
