Fatawa Of The Companions
Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawzeeyah [D. 751 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said: ❝Indeed the Ahl-ul Sunnah Wal-Hadeeth who study and research the knowledge of the Messenger [ﷺ] and the knowledge of those from his innermost circle from his Companions.
They are the most knowledgeable about this inheritance of knowledge.
Therefore, their lives regarding the Deen whether it is of the knowledge, understanding, deeds and creed has a weightiness and is regarded in understanding the intent of Allaah and His Messenger.
This is why taking the Fatawa of the Companions and the Aathaar As-Salafeeyah has precedence than the opinions of those who came later and their Fatawa.❞
