❗️Russian presidential aide Ushakov says Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump held a “constructive and frank” phone call focused on efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
The two leaders discussed recent visits to Moscow and Kiev by U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Trump emphasized the need to bring the conflict to an end, which he said could pave the way for a broader improvement in Russia-U.S. relations.
Putin and Trump also agreed to continue humanitarian efforts, including prisoner exchanges, and maintain contact when necessary.
