You will get a joint PhD degree from UQ Australia and Exeter UK. You will spend 1.5 years in the UK and 1.5 years in Australia.
Supervised by a strong team of interdisciplinary researchers.
Heaps of opportunities to work closely with industry partners tackling real-world problems using scientific methods. i.e. work opportunities after graduation.
The position is highly competitive and strong applicants are particularly welcome to apply.
The project is ideal for a person with a computer science/maths/statistics background interested in real-world engineering applications of artificial intelligence, or a person with a water engineering (civil, environment, hydrology, etc) background, strong in algorithm development and eager to deepen their expertise in artificial intelligence for sustainable urban infrastructure.
