Role Title: Data Analyst/Project Analyst
Role Type: Outsourced, Full Time, On-Site
Contract Duration: 11 months (renewable)
Work Location: Dubai, UAE
Working Hours & Days: 8am-5pm, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)
Role Purpose:
The position is designed to ensure seamless coordination and analysis of project data within the department. The role aims to enhance decision-making through accurate data auditing, insightful reporting, and risk management. By leveraging advanced tools such as Power BI, Excel, and data visualization techniques, the Data Analyst will support the team in maintaining compliance with project scopes, budgets, and deliverables, while driving operational excellence. The position serves as a critical link between project managers and senior management, ensuring actionable insights are derived from data to meet organizational goals effectively and efficiently.
The role requires proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, advanced MS Office tools, and PowerPoint for effective reporting and analysis. The candidate should also be capable of using project management software and collaboration tools to streamline workflows and ensure efficient communication.
Role Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role focusing on data analysis, reporting, and creating presentation decks.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC region is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• A diploma or certification in Data Analysis, Project Management, or related software tools (preferred)
• Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.).
• Expertise in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
• Strong command of MS Office tools, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Understanding of data auditing and compliance with project scopes, contracts, and budgets.
• Basic understanding of project management principles.
• Knowledge of reporting standards and risk management
