The next Gauge voting cycle has now also been prepared.
Gauge voting
Gauge voting is currently planned to reopen on Monday, 31 August, with the new voting window targeted to open at 12:00 UTC.
This will begin the next Gauge cycle from the recovered state, with epoch 28 and 27 active baskets.
The current target is Monday, but we will confirm the final opening details before the voting window goes live so everyone has clear notice of the exact schedule.
As previously communicated, the period during which Gauge voting has been paused is being accounted for in the rewards plan. The intention is to make sure the affected weeks are properly reflected rather than simply resuming as though the pause never happened.
The platform upgrade
The app will continue returning in phases while the remaining functionality is restored, tested and verified.
The priority throughout this process has been to bring each part of the platform back only once the dev team is satisfied that it is working as expected. Some functionality is therefore returning ahead of other areas rather than everything being switched back on at once.
Gauge voting is currently the next major piece scheduled to return.
ETH staking is being reopened separately. The staking history has now been reconciled against Ethereum, but the functionality still needs to complete its final production checks before it is reopened.
We will announce that separately once those checks have been completed.
Your positions remain onchain and unchanged throughout this process. No action is required from users, and withdrawals continue to remain available directly through Etherscan.
The work happening around the app does not alter ownership of BSKTs or the assets held within them.
BD
Work outside the infrastructure upgrade has continued in parallel.
The BD team has been in discussions with potential integration partners around several possible use cases, including integrations relating to cross chain deposits and how those flows could connect with Alvara and BSKTs.
These conversations are still underway, so there is nothing specific to announce yet, but the integration pipeline continues to develop while the dev team is working on an upgrade.
The rest of the business pipeline has also continued as normal.
That includes ongoing work around the equity raise, continued KOL round discussions and opportunities already being worked through.
The main focus now is getting Gauge voting reopened, completing the remaining upgrade work and returning the rest of the app functionality as each component clears its final checks.
