From Maghrib tonight it will be the 21st night of Ramadan and also the night of Jumuah. Ibn Rajab (رحمه الله) said: “If the night before Friday coincides with one of the odd-numbered nights during the last ten, then it is more likely than others to be Laylatul Qadr. They are all signs so do not let this necessitate cutting off Laylatul Qadr.” [Lataa’if al-Ma‘aarif] Meaning, this is just a sign and it doesn’t necessarily mean it is Laylatul Qadr as Allah knows best, so keep striving hard in the last few days too.
