we've run enough of these projects to know where the traps are.The client runs an English-language channel for a crypto exchange service: users swap dollars and euros for crypto and back. The goal was to grow the channel.
This niche needs a careful touch. Moderation is strict here, so the offers in the creatives had to be worded accordingly.
We selected Telegram channels with the right audience focused on arbitrage, trading, and investments. We also included direct competitors — channels about cryptocurrency exchange.
Telegram Ads lets us target suitable public channels available for placement, so we had plenty to test with.
Results
We attracted 5,000+ subscribers to the channel. Average cost per subscriber was 0.6 usd. Exchange requests started coming in.
We're still working with the client and launching new ad tests.
