The reason many people accomplish too little (or nothing) in life is planning a lot. You get sucked to the narrative of; "You need X to achieve Y and must plan to ensure no mistakes." "I don't know A and so I got to take a few more days on research" "I need to arrange for the necessary tools and resources before everything." Because everyone you've listened to said "getting started is hard" then you believed the story. Let's think about it together... Assuming you want to; - Become the best football/basketball/hockey player - Be a famous author - Become a great painter The best boots, field, ball, hockey sticks, books, brushes or paints won't make you great. If you're to become the best player then you have to put in more repetitions. - You must exercise more - You have to read more - You got to write more It's not until Michael Jordan made daily basketball training a priority that he became the best player. It's not until Picasso made art his daily bread that he could produce fine art. J.K Rowling only became great after years of writing. So, you pick one thing, go all in (religiously) and never quit until you're a success? The truth is ignored because it's simple and clear. And yes, all you got to do is stay in one thing for long enough. So long it feels boring. For the past 5 years, I've read books and biographies on the most successful people in history and 4 qualities stand out; 1. Risk taking 2. Strong belief 3. Radical patience 4. Aggressive consistency No magic. No witchcraft. No luck. But you'll only achieve this with a system... Introduction to The 50 Minutes Rule... The first time I thought about a clear system was 1st November 2021... And I've tested it until 1st November 2022. Didn't do it alone (it's hard to work alone) I took in a friend (Lewin) We'd struggle with content creation, generation and validation. We also struggled with consistency. Forget about consistency and stuff... we had a hard time growing an audience and our revenue. ($14k/Mo then) So we needed a system... And that's where our formula came in... 50 Minutes Rule... Anything in 50 minutes only. This is how it works (this'll work for you like crazy) There's what you want to achieve so bad. It might be daily or for a period of time. (100 - 180 days) Well, maybe you look to quit, start or develop a habit like; - Writing - Reading - Working out - Quit porn - Date someone new - Walking in nature The greatest struggle is to start. (Both to build or quit) After you start, then the struggle is to stay in the game. You're not alone. 8 out of 10 people who start to build or grow anything quit. Here's what makes your journey fun and great. Have constant time for all you want to accomplish... And it all takes 50 Minutes. Let's say you want to build a reading habit... (or any other habit) You start with the tools. • The book • A stopwatch • Commit to 50 minutes only Since the start is a little hard, don't overthink the place or when... Focus on momentum With momentum, then you can achieve almost every dream. Whatever you start, don't stop until your stopwatch is off... Again, don't overwork...you're not a robot. You need rest... When writing, reading or doing deep research... stand up and hit at least 15 push ups. A Quick exercise keeps you in work mood. Your assignment... Start with 30 minutes first... Then move on to 40 minutes... And before you notice it...bam! You're hitting 50 Minutes sessions... Every journey starts with a plan and 50 Minutes is our first step and killer... Which other productivity system do you use? Let me know before we meet tomorrow...
